On the transaction side, we are experienced in drafting and negotiating a variety of documents related to design and construction, including construction and design prime contracts, bid documents, consulting agreements, purchase orders, subcontracts, bonds and others. We promote a preventative philosophy in our transactional work, focused on anticipating and heading off potential areas of dispute or unexpected changes. Meanwhile, we have represented clients in all types of construction-related disputes and arbitration, including claims for changed work, defective work, differing site conditions and delays. We also have extensive experience in filing, prosecuting and defending lien/bond claims and in other public contracting disputes. We believe that our transactional and litigation practices are two sides of the same coin, and our experience in both allows us to better serve our clients.
