A native Tulsan, Robert Applegate graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 majoring in Finance with emphasis in Business Legal Studies. He graduated from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in December 1997. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in April 1998.
Mr. Applegate’s practice has centered around insurance defense, including insurance bad faith, commercial transportation, products liability, medical malpractice, employment, governmental/municipal liability and workers’ compensation. Mr. Applegate’s insurance-related matters, include, but are not limited to, coverage analysis, declaratory judgment actions, subrogation matters and most facets of claim resolution. Mr. Applegate also has extensive appellate experience.
Mr. Applegate is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and all state and federal courts in Oklahoma. He is a current member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and Tulsa County Bar Association. Mr. Applegate is a Martindale Hubbell AV rated attorney.
Mr. Applegate is married and the father of two. In his spare time, he enjoys attending high school and college soccer games and running. He and his family are members of the Church of St. Mary.
